XTRA-CONTROL HM is a high melting point GilsoniteŽ used to reduce the
fluid loss in oil based drilling fluids.
SUGGESTED TREATMENT
Typical treatment levels for XTRA-CONTROL HM are 2.0 to 10.0 #/bbl.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
XTRA-DEFLOC is a liquid, high performance, low molecular weight polyacrylate deflocculant used to effectively reduce viscosities in all types of aqueous drilling fluids. XTRA-DEFLOC is an environmentally sound alternative to the highly dispersive and potentially toxic chrome lignosulfonates.
SUGGESTED TREATMENT
Normal Conditions: 1-2 lbs/bbl 15-25 gals/100 bbls
Severe Conditions: 3-4 lbs/bbl 35-45 gals/100 bbls

XTRA-DEFOAM is a surfactant based defoamer in a hydrocarbon oil. It is effective in all water-based

XTRA-DEFOAM PLUS, a polymeric surfactant based defoamer, is very effective in all water-based drilling fluids, including polymer based systems such as workover and completion fluids, brines and cementing.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A concentrated lubricant specifically designed to offer maximum lubricity and shale inhibition using only environmentally safe ingredients. XTRA-LINER L provides down-hole lubricating properties closely resembling those of oil based lubricants, yet contains no oil, and is completely compatible with gilsonite.

A premium GilsoniteŽ is dispersed in water containing a surfactant (Xtra-Wet) designed to allow immediate dispersion along with a polyol blend to enhance shale stabilizing properties.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
XTRA-OIL EP is a concentrated primary emulsifier used for preparing water-in-oil emulsion drilling fluids. XTRA-OIL EP can be used as the primary emulsifier for both calcium chloride and sodium chloride internal phase systems. It can also be used with diesel based systems as well as low aromatic mineral oils.
SUGGESTED TREATMENT
Typically used at concentrations ranging from 0.5 to 1.0 gallons per final barrel. Will vary depending on oil/water ratio, solids content and hole temp.

XTRA-OIL ESW

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
XTRA-OIL ESW is a concentrated secondary emulsifier and wetting agent used in water-in-oil emulsion drilling fluids. XTRA-OIL ESW strengthens the emulsion by oil wetting all solids surfaces. As a result it can control increases in viscosity brought on by water-wet solids or water flows.
SUGGESTED TREATMENT
Typical treatments range from 0 to 0.3 gallons per final barrel depending on degree of water-wet solids and hole temp.

XTRA-OIL FLA
PRODUCT FEATURES

- Treatment levels significantly lower than organophillic lignite
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
XTRA-OIL FLA is an effective filtration control agent for use in oil muds containing both diesel and paraffinic oils. The temperature stability of XTRA-OIL FLA is in excess of 350°F. When compared to organophillic lignite as a fluid loss additive, XTRA-OIL FLA typically requires only 30-50% the treatment level to achieve the same fluid loss control.
SUGGESTED TREATMENT
Typical treatments range from 2 to 12 lbs/bbl Treatments over 12 lbs/bbl may have an effect on mud rheologies.
